James, born and raised in Kenya, earned his bachelor’s degree in Biology from Amherst College in 2013. He worked as a lab technician in Dr. George Murphy’s lab at the Center for Regenerative Medicine (CReM) at Boston University prior to joining the Integrated Program in Cellular, Molecular and Biomedical Studies at CUIMC in 2015. He joined the Fidock Lab in 2016 and works on malaria drug and target discovery.
