DR. Fidock Awarded the Alice & C.C. Wang Award in Molecular Parasitology
This week the American Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology announced that David Fidock was one of 10 scientists awarded the Alice & C.C. Wang Award for 2025. Each of these individuals have contributed greatly to the field of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Dr. Fidock specifically was awarded in Molecular Parasitology for his work on malaria parasite biology and the elucidation of mechanisms of antimalarial drug resistance. These recipients will be giving talks about their work at the ASBMB’s 2025 annual meeting April 12-15 in Chicago and Dr. Fidock will be giving a talk at titled “Molecular insights into antimalarial drug resistance." .
