ABOUT

Sunil received his Ph.D. degree from CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow, India in 2020 under the guidance of Dr. Satish Mishra and was awarded a Ph.D. scholarship from Indian Council of Medical Research. During his time at the CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute, his major focus was to understand the biology of parasite and identification of the new targets for vaccine and drug development in Plasmodium using rodent model. Sunil joined Fidock lab as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist in July 2021 to pursue his interests in molecular mechanisms underlying drug resistance.
